PAS is Project Aid Siberia... Faithy was in the F when it got started in Academgorodok. She and Peter Fischer, an Austraiian guy started it. (I think I got his name right... in the days of music cassette tapes in the early 80's, he had done a music tape with his son in Australia, the name of which I can't remember.) Later Faithy and he split up and she became TS and because of USDA giving them food aid to distribute PAS ended up with non Family staff.
For a while both Family members and non Family members worked for it. Eventually there were no longer any Family members working for it because the SGA's who had left the Family still continued to work with PAS and they had become very anti-Family. PAS needed them very much because they had learned Russian so well. So Family members must have been warned not to work with them anymore because of the anti Family influence they would be exposed to.
The way I read Sam's post is that he sent an email to Heart to Heart, the non Family NGO, exposing Faithy, and then they responded to explain they had not had any further contact with her.
Later I will be able to get some information from someone who knows if PAS still exists or not.
About Faithy's current standing and activities: I thought it was general knowledge that she's not a F member. Maybe she's FM, but in reality FM members are way down on the totem pole compared to what it means to be CM, and the FM members I know are very very lukewarm about the Family in general and overall... it's a mystery to me why they stay FM.
Does somebody have first hand info on where Faithy at these days?
