That was one thing I wouldn't let go - my mother, and the F. sure tried hard to make it difficult for me to keep the relationship going as strong as it did. She even came to visit 3 times and each time the F. made it very difficult for her to spend much time with me. I always wrote her often and kept up a good relationship. she never gave up on me and had faith. I think her good thoughts and God's blessings kept her going for so long and it did bear good fruit in the end. That was one thing, I just could not cut off my mother like that, they couldn't make me do it.
