Your point was understood, but what is the real point..the bottom line?

So even a pagan with a
> God-given conscience can and should and does
> know when something is rotten in Denmark.

So what happened to us "Children of God" who were supposed to be born-again with Jesus Christ reigning in and ruling OUR HEARTS?

So
> yes, we SHOULD listen to our hearts,

we should listen to God and His Holy Spirit, for His Word tells us we are/were fools to trust in our own hearts. Pr.28:26,Jer.17:5 We are to TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL OF OUR HEARTS, not trust in our hearts with all of our hearts. Use common (rather uncommon) sense, obey and trust in God, not in the heart of man, for out of the heart proceed evil thoughts. Mt.15:19

Taking into consideration what we swallowed and then acted upon in the Family, one could understand, IF they are honest, that it was Satan who lived in our hearts and not the Lord Jesus Christ. How can a pagan know or understand what is rotten in Denmark, and then REJECT IT, while a born-again child of God understands not and REJECTS IT NOT? Indeed, something was rotten in Denmark (the Family). It was our own hearts.

How is it this cannot be understood? Were our hearts far from Jesus? Mt.15:8

God the Father knows best:

let God be true, but every man a liar

Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Rom 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Rom 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Rom 3:13 Their throat [is] an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps [is] under their lips:

Rom 3:14 Whose mouth [is] full of cursing and bitterness:

Rom 3:15 Their feet [are] swift to shed blood:

Rom 3:16 Destruction and misery [are] in their ways:

Rom 3:17 And the way of peace have they not known:

Rom 3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
