Excessive downtime. In fact, the old server just went down again as I was trying to copy all the new messages from the Forums and make the switch!
The new service has an uptime guarantee, and a lot of features we don't have now, and costs less money to boot ($20.00 less per month).
The last time we moved, we were under a lot of pressure, as the old service was about to be shut down, so I didn't have a lot of time to do research. This time, I reviewed about twenty services and picked the one that looked like the best value.
I don't know how long the old server will be down, but you can access the new server via its IP address:

Crossfire, Casual Corner and Madthoughts got converted over before the crash, so they are all available for use via the IP address. Hopefully tomorrow the DNS will forward over.
