There are lots of places. Call a local crisis hotline to begin. There are many womens shelters that house single parents (male or female) with young children, shelters that take in whole families on a long term basis. It is a process getting in but there are resources. Any one wanting to get out, post the area, and I will do some research for you as to available resources in your area.
