I agree. My own children even though they suffered some abuses in the group do not hold it against me, though they could. I was just talking to my son and he was saying how you have to take responsibility for your own life, regardless of what happens. I was very impressed.
I saw this documentary last night about a 14 yr old girl who was coerced by a master manipulator on the internet to running away to Greece with him. He convinced her that he loved her and that she loved him. Truth is, he's a child porn addict and had repeated this offense to other young girls. He was also married and none of the women knew about the others, but they were all convinced they were #1 in his life - they showed him and when he talked, he was sooo convincing, he believed his own lies, that's how convincing he was. I realized that this young girl had been brainwashed. Even after she was returned to her mother and was in therapy, when she had to confront him in court and told of all the sexual abuses that went on, how he hid her from her family, etc., she still turned to him and said she still loved him. It was amazing to see this. I realized how many young girls joined the F. under Berg's powerful manipulation. Rachel was only 14, Marina was 16, and there many others. There are many victims in this group, even as much as the SGAs who had no choice. I agree with you, we should be together on this and I don't understand the line being drawn.
