It definitely wasn't wide-spread for minors to be FFing, simply because during that era there were not many minors who were old enough or developed enough to do it. I never heard of any minors FFing, of course I wasn't in the group for a main part of the time period. My father rejoined in '85 when I was 15, and I am amongst the oldest of the 'SGA' generation, the rest were at least 3-5 years younger than I, hardly developed past a pea, and I was never asked to FF.
But it was the fear of my life that when I became 18 I would be expected to do it. I dreaded it for a few years, then it was banned when I was 17 I think, and I heaved a sigh of relief, one little battle taken off my shoulders. I fear I would have been counted amongst the girls and not the women.
