That's pretty much the way Deanville (my son) is. He was raised in the F until he was 18, then he came to live with me. The F stuff really sickens him but he has little interest in posting much. He does sometimes on the NDN. He is mainly interesting in getting on with his life and getting his education and career off to a good start.
