Tee-hee - they seem so clingy - I keep thinking that the older they get the more they'll be on their own, but nooooo. Seriously - we have a very tight-knit family and I surmise it's because of all we went through and all they saw me go through. I never gave up on any of them and they never gave up on me. I fought for my kids and they know that. We talk and we hear each other out, I think that's a plus. I know what you mean though, by that age I didn't want to hang around my parents at all - they are sooo different than that - it surprises me. I've thought about it a lot and I think it's because we had to depend on each other - who else did we have? Who else knows what we went through? Only one has moved away and they all want her back. When I first left the F. and made the decision to quit tithing, my oldest son on almost every mother's day card for about 5 years would write a little paragraph profusely thanking me for taking him out of the F. I still have them, it was so sweet of him.
