I have to agree with the Family's version of charity and the true charitable works that other organizations are accomplishing. There are probably some members out there who are really and truly giving all they can to help the needy around them, but on the other hand, there are doubtless some who are abusing the work they are doing and using it as a front to live an easy lifestyle.
I have been particularly disturbed over these guys in Thailand who do that luk singing thing, esp. the fact that they are so secretive about their true identity, and especially since they just had that 'push' or 'purge' or whatever it was in November to witness and promote their good works to the world in the name of the Family. It shows again that when push comes to shove they hide their real identity. That's too bad but I'm glad it doesn't affect my life anymore and I don't have to worry about it.
