Do you want me to post every filthy X-rated DETAIL of what my 2 daughters went through on this board? Do you know it still gets my stomach in a knot when I have to review papers/history for the next therapist that comes around? Do you know what it is like to pass by a playground and see young children play, smile and laugh, and get that flash and that familiar ache "I wish *I* could go back in time and be able to have them be in a place where they can be SAFE?"
Yet it happened under the roof we were living in, where they should have been SAFE in the space of a year, at the hand of an alleged "uncle," while I knew nothing about it. These people are BOLD.
The details are not for the weak of stomach, just like the girl in the above post said. None of this stuff is, but survivors have to live with the results of it every day.
I'll summon the strength to post my story here for the ones who have not heard it yet. It is not a question of wanting to post "inflammatory details," (rhetoric, what a great tactic) it is a question of educating the public about the truth of what really happened and what some people had (and still do) to live through.
