Hey, we are all sensitive. I had a bad day today. I had to fire a guy. It is easy to understand how hard it is to be fired. What few people ever know is the kind of self-loathing one experiences when having to be the one to wield the axe. I'm sure I'm not having nearly as bad a night as he is, but I am all torn up about it. So, if some of that has cross over, I'm sorry.
I really want you to know that I'm not kidding around when I tell you how much respect I have for you. Even though we disagree often, it has nothing to do with disrespecting you, or the very real struggle you have engaged in.
