What you perceive as animosity towards you is really incorrect. The animosity lies squarely on the shoulders of the F. and particularly the F. leadership. The outrage from exmembers towards them and their practices sometimes spills over if one befriends them. This does not make exmembers automatically as having animosity towards you necessarily. I see the tension happening more when you take offense in defending yourself as to your position, which is not in question, I don't think. I understand what you think you are doing, that is obvious to me and others, I'm sure. But it's not going to change the opinions of exmembers who do not want to befriend F. members and feel strongly about it for several reasons.
