I believe the person who sent it to me did it to see my reaction to the copyright issues.
I am not a member of the team that produces exfamily.org, but I am someone who has been exposed to online copyright issues for many years.
I only exposed the fact that I received a copy after I noticed that there was a debate regarding the authenticity of the message. I know that the letter was authentic, because of how I received it. I understand that someone receiving it via a more obscure method would have questions. My purpose was to help clear up the question of if the letter actualy came from the Family or was a hoax.
