Hi there. Reading a thread below there is a conversation where a letter is mentioned. One was a letter written by a John Smith who was supposedly representing the family where he was climing ownership of some of their controversial publications. In that letter, Mr Smith also requests that those publications be taken down. What was funny about the letter is that its originating address was not an official family address, nor did it have any other identifying bit in it. As I recall, calls for confirmation were posted but nothing else was heard publicly from Mr. Smith or the family. My guess is that this is not an important point to get too hot about. I imagine that they take it philosophically and think that there is very little they can do to herd the cats in this site.
Then there is another letter mentioned by Acheick below. One that I never saw published but which was mentioned in the boards several times, a letter written by Grant Montgomery about publicly using or connecting or whatever the FCF name, people, etc. associating it with the family.
My question: When you said in the thread that some one gave you a copy of "the letter" and because of who this person was you immediately knew it was authentic... were you talking about the letter written by John Smith (coming from a yahoo address) or the letter written by Grant?
Thank you in advance for answering.
