That's true about an east west divide in some aspects. at least when we were still in, after the shake up gn's at the end of '99 we had a YA in our area who had come from Thailand. at the time her dad was an CRO and he was writing to her about doing shake up visitations and re-classifying people and homes. i kept expecting that to happen where we were in eastern europe and was sure i'd end up reclassified if it did. but no one ever came. maybe it happened in hungary where the cros had their home, i don''t know. in spite of the shake up things were really loose sometimes, meaning non adherence to some fundamental charter rules and principles, like the going 2X2 rule, watching rated movies, alcohol limit rules, homes protecting their turf to the detriment of other homes, sex rules etc... i really wonder if the new conviction and compromise series from last year has changed anything... probably not... people's devotion to maria and peter is not as fanatical as our devotion was to berg the way we were in the early days when we got letters like "old bottles".
