Jane and I had been working on some ideas for a site to help exiting cult members in finding practical advice like this. I had also thought about things like job interview tips. How to dress, what to say, what NOT to say ("I was in a cult"), how to tell a real job from a scam.... how to fill out a W-4, how to fill out an I-9 (what kind of ID is required)... things like that.
I stopped when I heard that you guys were opening up a site and would offer resources and ideas. I didn't want to duplicate efforts.
