That's very sad. It happens so much, but to have it happen to someone you know and have seen makes it much more personal. I am glad that you are free from the f. and control of others. I was thinking of that Bruce Springsteen song that he wrote after Sept. 11th, the chorus went something like "Rise up, come on rise up..." I think there is a parallel to what happens to people who have been beaten down in a cult or a relationship. It is hard to watch it happening, or read about others we know that are in similar situations and are not out yet. I hope they read this board some, with the articles and such as well. Thanks for being here.
