goth i do realize that your expression of pain is totally valid. i was speaking in very general terms about what, if anything, has helped them get to where the energy and power of anger somehow gets channeled into something ...different from "venting." or maybe, "in addition to".. i certainly would not expect someone who has the experiences you refer to to ever not feel angry at the memory of those events or the warped teaching that gave rise to them. but i believe over time, the GRIP of some emotions on us can loosen, freeing us to experience new emotions to a greater degree. the insights of others can sometimes help this along. at least that is my experience. and why i raised the question...to hear the experience and insights of others. does that make any sense to you?
