My F "burn out" was consolidated the more I accepted that things weren't changing for the better, that all the fine words were only that, words. No matter how many times financial security and prosperity was predicted, in spite of how glorious the newest move of the Spirit was going to make life in the F, after reading about it you still had to get out and clown or provision or sell CDs or mail the hype to your supporters, etc. in order to get the bread and butter on the table. The children still needed 24/7 care, the van still needed fixing, spring cleaning meant that leaders were going to visit and all the new weapons and all the new keys would not put humpty dumpty back together again.
