Really interesting post. 2 things come to my mind that might apply. First, Maria and Peter have said to the F that the exmember community are at the top of the list as potential Activated members... which means you'd buy a subcription to the Activated magazine. Second, it is a current F pattern of thought to envision yourself as being part of the most open minded tolerant Christian group on the planet. Current F members truly believe themselves to liberated from a F past that had imposed many limitations on them. This pseudo liberalized thinking therefore allows the F member who emailed to demonstrate and to express an appreciation for the validity of your viewpoints. F are still sincere, but blind to the fact that they are as bound as they ever were. In a post I made below I talked about the role playing F members do, but I did not reiterate that F members play these roles in a spirit of true sincerity. As the adage goes, "sincerely wrong".
