I think that, in the particular case of Barney, since he has a strong connection with the NDN, it is a little odd (to say the least) to discuss him here. We all have different opinions of the man and his work, whatever that happens to be.
If we have questions about him of his work it seems to me that we ought to go pay him a visit and find out for ourselves. Hammer of God (what a cool name!) does well in writing a disclaimer and asking for direct communication with him if there are any questions. Why bringing him up for discussion when he is not present? It almost ammounts to talk about some one when they aren't around. I know we used to do that a lot when we were in the Family, but it's actualy really suck-e.
I agree with Hammer and this is just my opinion.
