Here's the run down on me so you have some background:
Never in the Family. Married 19 years as of Tuesday to someone who was. Met her while she was still in and had one kid. Caught up with her again after she had another one. She left the Family after the second child stated having seizures, which according to Moses David meant she was possessed by the devil (couldn't possibly be a medical condition, right?). Second child died at the age of three. We got married and had two more kids. Now the kids range from 24 to 7. 24 year old's Dad from the F is a bastard and won't have anything to do with him. This young man wears clown white with a black dress, and frequents clubs (I only bring this up because of your name). We finally met the Dad of the second child at an ex-member gathering about a year ago. He got to find out that not only did he father a child with my wife, but that the child was dead. He was actually a very nice guy, just lost in the Family shuffle all those years. After the wife left the family we went many years without talking about it much, until her sister got some lit with the 800 number on it. She called, they showed up. We struck up a friendship before we knew that this was considered taboo by some folks in the ex'er community. Stubled upon the ex member websites a couple of years ago. Wrote the long version of this story. Started helping Lolo with her board. Heard that NDN was having a fellowship in Griffith Park near our home. Attended that. Met Barney. Barney found out that Al Gore and I invented the Internet and asked for my help. I helped, which made me one of "them" in the minds of some people, even though I spend more time fighting with Barney than they do. Some people think I've paid my dues, given that I've raised more Family kids than some ex-member males have. Others think I'm a babbling idiot who thinks he knows everything. Those people can bite me. Sometimes I write very long stories that are so entertaining that even the people who think they don't like me have to sit back in awe, but then they get over it and return to trashing me and my wife (who is mostly innocent in all this). The post by "Smithson Bennett III" is a parody of me, and fairly accurate regarding my accomplishments. However in this community misery is rewarded and accomplishments are punished, so I'm bad and wrong most of the time just for having never joined the cult, and having been otherwise successful.
That said...
Regarding the information about Barney. Barney is busy getting settled into his new home, and hadsn't been around NDN for over a month. I happen to know some of the answers to the questions that were asked, so I provided them. From my experience, when a question about Barney is answered with anything other than a statement that basically says, "Barney Sucks", it is an invitation to fight.
Again, in this community, it is a fact of life that misery is rewarded and accomplishments are looked down upon. Barney gives food and shelter to a large number of people on a day by day, week by week, year by year basis. So, naturally, there are people in this community who think there has to be something wrong with that. They have tried very hard to find something wrong with it, but so far, they can't. This pisses them off to no end. When they are given facts and figures that don't agree with their version of reality, they get upset and start saying things to me like this:

It is like waking a sleep walker. You have to be very careful, because when what they think is real clashes with what is real, they start swinging.
Do keep in mind that the worst posts about me on this board were deleted. So, what may appear as me reacting to nothing, could be me reacting to something that was removed from the board. And not everyone apologized, by the way.
Regarding the Heart to Heart thing, I don't know how else to explain it. Barney runs a ministry by that name, and someone in the Family also runs a ministry by that name out of Bangkok from what I gather. As far as I can tell, they have nothing in common except they happen to have the same name. So, there is no evidence to support the idea that Barney gets money from FCF or the Family just because he and someone else in the Family use the same name "Heart to Heart".
That is my take on things. My opinion. My experience. I'm sure others here have a different opinion. I have no doubt they will voice them.
