Good question about healing, ray. (Gosh, you're so humble, you always spell your name with a small "r". I just can't get over that. There. I got that out of my system by finally saying it.)
But venting anger is a small part of the purpose of this board. We're not all here just to vent. Have you noticed all the very constructive posts recently about helping people in the Family know there are places to land at if they choose to leave? How about health tips? Movie-watching gossip? Just plain poking fun and having a laugh. Did you read the stuff about "90 reasons I'm glad I'm a Systemite"?
Besides, did you ever think........this is a public board read by people still in the Family. They aren't allowed to vent openly and honestly. They probably get a kick out of seeing us vent and call Berg a pedofile, Abrahim demon-possessed drunk instead of "Grandpa". Anger is one of the first reactions that people have when they realize their whole LIFE has been ripped off. So to a lot of readers the "vent mode" is right exactly the stage where they're at.
But yeah to only vent anger the rest of our lives and that's all we do, that is not cool. But as I pointed out above, there's a LOT else happening on this board besides venting. Cool stuff about Achiek and her daughters, writing poems for them, love, kisses, hugs, tears (Hey, hey! GROUP HUG everyone! EVeryone now, Achiek, Joseph, Mekka, WC.)
Gosh that felt good.
Let's see now, where was I in my well-balanced, harmonious, happy, fulfilled new life? Oh yes, I was taking out some "vent" time.
