I certainly never said that Barney was saintly. You might find this hard to believe, but I've spent a lot more time in Barney's face than you ever have, or probably ever will.
What I have said is that he helps SGA's. I never said he was the only person in the world who does it, but he is a person who does it.
Another thing I find interesting is that you never seem to acknoledge the changes that have been reported at Laurelhome by people like myself, Jane and MH, who are people you know fairly well, and have no reason to lie to you.
It's not run as a commune anymore. It is a boarding house. The people who live there pay rent. They are helped in finding a job. They are helped in getting a drivers license. They are assisted in becoming documented (if they never were). Finally, they are helped in finding their own apartment.
Other than it is a big house with a lot of people living at it, what exactly is Family like about that?
And if it isn't Family like, why do you keep saying it is?
