You have spoken my heart and I know there are many people like you - the unsung heroes they are called. I know that it is seen even if you don't get recognition for it or are even put down by some as not living up to those 3 people's standards. I know how hard it is to get on one's feet after leaving such a debilitating experience and my hat's off to you for how you are trying to help someone in spite of what you yourself must be going through. Anneke and Cancion left a long time ago and have money and big places, that is not true of most exmembers. It's wrong to try and make exmembers feel guilty because they cannot follow suit. We've felt guilty long enough for not being good enough for God or good enough for God's work, it's time to get out of that mindset and that type of talk only puts people back into that mindset again. I'm sure most exmembers would do the same if they had the ability and the resources. The thing is, it's not just a place to stay that exmembers need, there is so much more to the healing process and there is no exit counseling available which is really sad, IMO. I hope to change that by our outspoken voices. Maybe someone is listening.
