I will have to take Joseph's side on this one. From my own experience, it seems quite obvious that this young man and his wife have been the target of demonization by former members of this particular cult. Whether or not his wife likes a particular song or whether or not she has given her friendship to cult members has absolutely nothing to do with whether she or her husband are or are not good and upstanding people.
Although Joseph quite obviously displays the qualities of narcissism, I believe that he is certainly correct in his self-assessment, in that he is quite above the level of the people with whom he works and with whom he is presently communicating. With this in consideration, it is obviously hard for him to condescend to the masses or for him to be expected to even try to like most of them. Yet he appears to be quite able to hold them as friends as long as they are willing to openly receive his opinions.
It is not as if he is dealing with whole-minded people - these riff raff who have stumbled their way out of the cult after being abused for years or even decades, or perhaps even their entire life times - to use a quite colloquial expression "mind-fucked." For a man like Joseph and his wife Plane Jane to even offer their opinions and friendship to this type of person should be looked upon with awe, admiration and at the very least sincere gratefulness.
For those of you who criticise this person or his wife or to attempt to villify them is certain out of place and uncalled for in any decent society. Remember we must all find our place and abide by it if there is to be order in society.
