You may be interested in a book you can get at Amazon.com called the Master Cleanse by Stanley burroughs. I hve read it and it seems very fascinating. His diet is lemonade sweetened with grade a or b maple syrup and a dash of cayenne pepper, and according to his studies you can survive on it for up to 40 days as the lemon juice and maple syrup have all the minerals and vitamins your body needs, and the cayenne pepper is to flush mucous out of your system that may be building up.

Be cautious about eating fish, I have been reading some articles that more and more, fish are being found to have high levels of mercury in them due to mercury deposited into the ocean, and that mercury is then ingested into your system and you can develop mercury poisoning or many other problems that develop from mercury. Fish oil in a capsule is apparently much safer than actual fish.
