naturally we all lived a very intense life during some years, we lived in a dream some of us continue to wish and try to relive but it was turned into a nightmare for reasons beyond our power. I think there is a general understanding of that point, at least. But there are also other points of view and you seem intent to assert your vision as more correct, your vision of some sort of lalaland where we can all live, predators and pray, in peace. Well, the lion and the lamb will lay together but not just yet as wonderful as it will be. I suggest you come down to set your feet on the ground and look at the reality of people who are trying to shake off their abused past, who are trying to regain control of their lives and who need to be empowered to tell their story.
What you seem to suggest is to quiet them down into some state of silence and wonder at peace. What people who have been abused need is a place to scream and tell their story. Abusers cannot hide behing excuses that things happen because we were trying to do good, follow God or whatever else.
