WOW! That's all I can say. Boy, Rocky, are you a God-send or what? That spells it out perfectly and WC can we have this in the Hall of Fame archive? I still think we should compile all of Rocky's expertise posts and put it under an article section on Abuse and recovery. It's great - I can verify all that Rocky says, it's so true and clear and concise. There needs to be more of a heads up in the psychology community on the type of abuse we suffered.
I also agree that there may be many men and even women who did not suffer the types of abuse Marina and I did because they were encouraging it and basically on the other end. I think they have a different past to come to terms with. I think of my ex-husband. He had two wives, several girlfriends and many children spread around the F. He sits in his little home with his second wife and 10 children and runs his kingdom calling out the shots. He has never been abused and is basically a perpetrator of the abuse. He had me under his thumb thinking I was the dumbest and useless person on the earth and everything that went wrong was because of my evilness. I don't think he'd need to be treated for abuse but to be treated for being an abuser. Not everyone coming out of the F. has been abused.
