Thank you, Miguel, for such a deep post. I am so glad that some of the songs I wrote have been and continue to be a strength and help to people. If I ever had a dream, I guess that would be it. Not to be rich and famous, and have the headaches that go with it, but to use the simple talent the Lord gave me, and touch others with it in a way that would help them through another day, or a difficult time. Sometimes I hear a song that will just move me to tears, and it doesn't really matter how much I can relate to it. It just has something about it. I've been listening to a lot of Alison Krauss's music lately, and she does that to me. Her heart seems to be so sweet, and has such a softness and vulnerability. Anyway, I appreciate your taking the time to write what you did. If you're interested, I have a new CD that I recorded last year with some new songs and some old ones that you may not have heard.
