There are copies of that movie that have the soundtrack where to narrater gives approx figures. There also are sworn statements from eyewitnesses among the troups who first arrived there. Bergen-Belsen was horrific but one of many. In 1945 there were 900 plus concentration camps and satellite camps. During that time Typhoid was in the camp rapidly killing thousands of the surviviors the retreating SS were not able to kill.
