So Jesse, why didn't you just tell the old goat that you weren't leaving Huntington Beach until your legal troubles had been resolved? The whole thing was caused by dumb-ass Aaron, why didn't DB just take care of business instead of fleeing?
I feel that DB utilized paranoia, both his own and the paranoia that he instilled into his followers as a powerful manipulative tool.
When I joined in 1970 at 5th & Towne I thought right from the beginning that it was very strange that Mo never showed up to talk to the rest of us, that he was hiding for some strange personal reason. Of course, at that time we really didn't need him as all we were concerned about was witnessing and keeping the home fires burning. DB was involved in none of that, so who cared?
