New here, have some questions.....

I just started discovering the boards as I recently started searching for exFamily support. I've been reading the messages on this board and find it very supportive and informative. I saw on another board, links to messages about the death of Jeremiah Singer and Watchman(Rick). I had only read something Rick had written after leaving, and then heard from someone not related to the f. that he had been struggling with alcohol and then I saw that he died in July last year? What happened to him? And what happened to his little brother, does anyone know? I remember singing sam from Los Angeles when I first joined in the latter part of July of 70. I went out as a partner with him a few times to "witness". I had joined the "God Squad" 3 days before that and walked away from them while out "witnessing with them in the Hollywood area. I was pretty quiet in the fam. and a teen, so I don't know if anyone remembers me. I left when I was in my 13th yr. (12 1/2+)from Switzerland. I think it is really important to talk about and get out the past to move on because we were always taught to be a good sample to the outside world. Keep up those appearances!! or else! (Ah, the love of god). I also remember meetings where it was discussed how to list a problem, don't talk about it until you have the "victory". It seems to me that SILENCE KILLS! I would like to hear from anybody, esp. those who were in for many yrs and how they are coping, since leaving and now. Thanks all!
