So... why aren't they assaulting girls in the Catholic Church?
I know there have been a few, but the overwhelming majority have been pubescent males.
It doesn't seem to follow with usual pattern, of older men fooling around with young girls. In the Family, that is all I have really ever heard of. I've never heard any males say that they were assaulted by another male. That doesn't mean to me that it never happened, but it does look to me like what happened in the Family to young girls is happening in the Catholic Church to young boys.
Why do you think there is such a concentration in this one group?
I'm not saying that all gay men assault young pubescent boys. I am saying that an unusual number of Catholic Priests seem to be assaulting young pubescent boys, and apparently want nothing to do with the girls.
The Church itself seems to be saying that it is a gay thing, rather than a child molesting thing. Mainly because, by and large, the people being abused are young male teens, not young children.
