I have been quite close to members or ex-members of various groups (for observational research reasons) and I am telling you, some of these diktats can produce pretty neurotic people no matter which 'religious' brand they may carry as their label. I know a guy who has been a Hari Krishna for years (since he was 18 and is in his late 40's now) who for ONE sexual act with a woman feels compelled to do I don't know how many rounds of chanting, the equivalent of chanting all night.
Compare that instead with the guy in the F who feels if he screws 64 sisters (forget the chanting) he attains more spirituality because his prophet told him so. :)"
Isn't it ironic how a pagan religion can have more conscious in these matters than a professing "Christian" group? Keeping in mind that there either is or there is not such a thing as illicit sex, consider that much mishap in the Family would have not taken place had it not been for illicit sexual policies. Don't forget, it was done in "LOVE", and if there are no sexual mores in which to follow, just who then actually defines what is right or wrong? Taking fornication as an example - who decides your love or my love is better or purer than the Family's? Our own conscious? Is that not precisely what the Family taught, that whatever is done in "love" and according to your faith is acceptable? Through nonexistent standards ("God's Only Law Is Love") is the means by which perverted Family doctrine and logic( to which we were either subjected to or subjected ourselves to) ENABLED an ever increasing capacity to evolve from initial acts of fornication and adultery onward (backwards) and into homosexuality, lesbianism, pedoplilia, and God knows what else, as the "Christ" (A.C.) force of "Love" was released from within. This "LOVE" is anything but divine and just one example the Bible refers to of those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness (Isaiah 5). It says WOE UNTO THEM!
Only a being called Satan could have the diabolical intelligence to so cleverly REVERSE these fundamental issues and cause Family members to believe that they were actually following the TRUE God. This could only be accomplished by obliterating any and all standards one way or the other and by any means possible. Isn't it interesting the method he used and which worked?
