They wanted me to do them a favor, and left me no way of backing out of it. They presented me with what I had to do in the last minute, and walked me through right up to the place where I was supposed to do the deed, and had one of them assist me with it (buddy system = total mind and body control). Why? To use me as a guinea pig to prove some leader's confident theory that they could routinely outsmart people and rip them off? Basically, they asked me to lie, cheat and steal, and told me it was God's way. I ended up in jail for that, and they were scared shitless I would talk. They left me alone to fend for myself in a 3rd world prison for some time. If I didn't talk, I risked everything from deportation to heavy fines and indefinite(!) imprisonment, to losing my children and never seeing my loved ones again. But I didn't talk. When I managed to negotiate my own way out, and made my way back to the home, they were shocked to see me and debriefed me for hours and hours. All they really cared about was that I didn't lead anyone to the homes. Then they had some poor low-level leader who had nothing to do with it take the fall. But it wasn't much of a "fall". I barely got even an apology. More like a "so sorry for your troubles, but this is what can happen when you're in God's highest" type of bullshit.
