Did you notice in Ricky's post below that he not only quoted James Penn but he quoted Deborah Davis too? Holy smokers!! To Family dyed-in-the-Mo fanatics, Deborah was the arch-enemy, Satana herself, the symbol of pure evil! Berg said her book was so evil "you guys don't need to read it. I read it and it's all lies." Yeah....right.
Deborah's book had some axes to grind (like getting across some religious views) but beneath that flavoring she told the truth. But Berg had painted Deborah Davis as "wha ha ha ha, the very devil herself" that even ex-members were scared spitless to be seen reading her book. You'd have to be a total friggin' demonic backslider to read that book.
Then along comes Ricky aka Davidito who knows the inside scoop better than anyone and spills the horrible truth about Peter and Maria and Berg and whaddaya know, he quotes Deborah's book! That took balls! But then, only he could do that, because you GOTTA know Ricky knows what he's talking about and is telling the truth.
You don't think so? Where in hell are Peter and Maria's denials then? Where in hell are their GNs and posts refuting Ricky? Ha ha ha. They won't lift their heads and peep. They're too busy pissing their pants.
By quoting her book, Ricky validated the truth Deborah wrote. Sure, she came across over-religious, sure Bill Davis is nobody's hero (I have no posters of him on my bedroom wall) but what happened to Deborah and what she saw, really happened.
It's interesting to see all these inside testimonies corraboarate: Deborah, James Penn, Davidito. They tell the whole story and take away the myth of the god-man "David". You don't want any posters of David Berg on your wall either.
So thanks, Ricky.
