Yes, Maria was there from when Berg first started his Teens for Christ brigade with his kids. He hit on Maria right away and she stuck. I don't think there were even any mo letters until she came along and started the campaign of typing them up and passing them along as directives and sermons. You'll have to dig into the history, I don't have time at the moment.
