If Berg were alive, he'd be in jail too:
A Valley minister accused of child molestation learned Friday morning that he will have to remain in jail, despite a request to be released on his own recognizance. Ambrocio "Andy" Martinez Sabala, 72, is accused of molesting two of his six daughters. A Tulare County judge denied his request to be released Friday morning and also refused to reduce bail from $500,000. Sabala faces 12 felony counts of child molestation. The alleged crimes occurred in the late 1960s and early 1970s but the women claim they began remembering the incidents only in the past few years. Sabala is scheduled to be back in court for a preliminary hearing on June 7.
