Hey Matt! Hope you are hanging in. I think leaving TF is not backsliding it is a step towards sanity. It can be very hard to break through the conditioning the letters had. The family culture was closed, manipulative and uncaring. I think the letter that you are talking about is a meanspirited and heartless response to a real person's situation. The man who wrote it was actually a sex crazy pervert and a preacher and doer of child molestation. He used spiritual values, our vulnerable natures and his own evil purposes to pull us into a living nightmare. I don't think a person is backsliding out of the family when they leave. They are simply taking back God's gift of life that Berg and the family stole from them. Berg and now his sidekicks, Zombie Zarby and her perverted peter puppet,run the family on guilt and feed off the sick results.
