I don't think Miguel was trivializing the taking of your sister's child. He was simply making a point.
Many, many people have been hurt in many, many ways by the Family (and many, many other cults.)
This, as other places, is where we can talk and discuss these. Either openly, using our real names...or ANONYMOUSLY if we choose.
I don't see why anyone would have a problem with that.
And by the way, we all are upset by how the Family has destroyed families, taken children, etc. and no one on this board would trivialize something like that. If you feel that way about what he said, then you misunderstand what he's saying. I know him personally, and I know he would never make fun or trivialize another person's pain.
