yes, true, Sam does tend to spin his material as fact. But any reader with a lick of ability to think critically should be able to see his material for what it largely is -- a rambling, subjective, stream-of-consciousness narritive.
Several years ago I read one of his newsletters and it said about something "I don't know if this is true, but I heard it and I repeat what I hear."
That was it for me. His credibility plummeted, and it has not risen much since.
This is compounded by his lack of attention to detail -- he is unwilling to edit his material or have someone do it for him. And by his lack of concern for ethical procedures.
I really think people should be able to figure all this out just by reading his material. In my view -- to borrow a Bergism -- [don't shoot me! :)], he is his own worst enemy. Sad.
I'm glad he has taken the LB material off, and I hope he will explore ways to raise the integrity of his writings.
