According to a post by Nique at movingon, the Family Care Foundation is listed on this year's combined federal combined charities campaign. See:

At the risk of raising the ire of those who disagree with Sam A, I have to say that except for the references to Love's Bridge and the poorly written paragraph about Christine G, I think Sam's newsletter on the Family Care Foundation is worthwhile. I've always felt that what Sam's newsletters need is a good editor--although I'm not sure he would agree with that--however, the larger question remains: Do we really want FCN to go unchallenged on the federal charitable compaign listing as a "faith based" organization?
Those of you who may be coordinating the combined charities campaign at work should check your listings of approved organizations. As far as our state's CCC registry is concerned, FCN is not on the list. The case may be different in California or Texas.
