Something I should probably mention is that I'm not trying to say that clowning is not work. I'm sure it is very hard work. It is just not as reliable a money maker than working a job where you have a pre-negotiated rate of pay and number of hours.
The other thing is that having something outside The Family, like a job, can improve the overall mental health of the people involved. When your entire world (job, family, recreation) revolves around one thing, it makes you crazy.
I'm sure the thinking at WS is that by working a system job, they have to rub elbows with evil systemites. But, I've got news. When you clown you rub elbows with evil systemites! At some point, it is not avoidable. You have to rub elbows with systemites at some point if you intend to live off the system. And they do. Every dollar they have can be traced to the pocket of some hard working job holder, or corporation.
