I think that's an acurate description. I don't like getting into politics because people become so convinced of their own interpretation that it can separate very friends. It reminds me of when I was a little girl during the Nixon/Kennedy campaign - we all know now that Kennedy won. However, during the campaign my father was so against Kennedy that whoever came to our door had to get an earful of how much he loathed him and did not want him for president. I had NEVER seen my father act in such a manner. It shocked me. He was normally a pretty mild-mannered man.
