- I sure struggled with the Godly counsel issue too - I think I was obsessed with it-

- I learned over the years that DB was a doctrine shopper only I think he mixed in some kind of an addictive snake oil concoction that made us all sick in our souls

- over the years I have found many of the sources DB extracted doctrines from - even his deviant doctrines and other twists were not new

- I believe that DB's deviances cannot detract from the truth we did through the Word - the basics we lived were not DB's original doctrines, interestingly I went almost crazy over the truth or lie of DB. I think I spent about ten years post family trying to understand this issue. I wrote DB before I left, got weird answers and excommunication.

- I have come to the conclusion the truth was in the way we loved each other and bore clean fruit through the word of God in the bible. This fruit, which I feel most of us experienced, cannot be taken away, it is imutable and part of God's work in us.

- I think FFing, Gypsy helpers, goddesses, the false prophecies and all the other manipulative DB fantasies have only hurt others, failed to hold truth and are decaying into the wood, hay and stubble that they really are.

- Great point about Solomon, he too went bonkers following other Gods.

- I thank you for responding to my post, it was my first and it was nice to hear from you, Rocky
