I think this is pretty scathing, Jared. I find it amusing that they don't even bother to answer themselves. Their unwillingness to address these issues speaks volumes.
Letters like these, along with others of your generation, and the lack of replies, are slowly creating a body of literature that thoroughly exposes and documents the legacy of abuse.
As well, Family members read letters like this, see the lack of a reply, and are literally forced to admit that much, if not all of it, is true. What does that do to their belief system? As you know, many eventually leave.
So you've done a great service by posting this. Thank you.
