Like Observer says below, I too wish I'd "delivered my soul" to Family leadership while I was still in and in a position to tell them. That takes real guts! Congratulations!
They said they didn't answer you because you'd already made up their mind, but the truth is they had NO legitimate, credible answers to your questions, or responses to your observations!
And more than that, they don't feel that they OWE you or anyone else for that matter, an answer. They are accountable to no one. The way they look at it,why should they be? They hear from their "jesus" every morning, noon & night, and in fact during their sex while they're talking dirty to Jesus in gypsy tongues.
They literally think they are above and beyond accountability, and unless they ever change their mind on that one, they will never feel compelled to change on any doctrine or policy.
Great letter, Jered! Thanks for posting it. You didn't have to do that, and I appreciate the fact that you did. Again, make sure to post on this board when you get your new tax-exempt charity status, as hopefully exers may want to give. Russia is a tough field for the kind of work you're doing and LB needs more than our admiration.
