Hi, Wayne!
Sure, I remember Dorcas. I met her at the "Babe's Ranch", in North Texas. I remember her being very kind and patient with people, and she was always giving someone a big hug; saying "Thank You, Jesus", and laughing heartily, when others "blew it" (normal reactions--little pecadillos/violations of TF's militant/cruel "revolutionary" conditioning process).
She told me how to process half a dozen or more live chickens for dinner: hang them upside down till all the blood went to their heads, and they passed out, so I wouldn't have to chase them around individually with their heads cut off--hilarious!
The bad part was the dipping into the boiling water, and stripping off of the stinky feathers!
And the gutting. Yecch!
Actually, I really enjoyed the ranch.
I am sure that she left the cult with a very broken heart, over how badly Berg caused things to veer off from an actual Christian discipleship, for her. Very sweet natured. I also knew her in Mexico City.
